DELAYED BAGGAGE

We apologize for the mishandling of your baggage and understand that this will be inconvenient for you. Please be assured that we will do all possible to assist you through this experience.

Your baggage details have been entered into our worldwide computerized baggage tracing system.

You may check the status of you delayed bag and, as needed, modify the delivery and contact information.

Please ensure your name, address, flight information and bag type details are correct. In case of any changes, please notify us as quickly as possible so we can update your file accordingly. This information will help us in returning your baggage quickly.

We will advise you once your baggage has been received and arrange a convenient time for delivery.

Please approach our ground staff at the airport immediately. You’ll have to complete a report to describe your bag in detail, along with your contact information and delivery address.
You should expect to receive the following:

  •  A copy of your report
  •  A File Reference Number

If there are any other issues, please contact us through the respective Lost and Found offices listed here.

  • We’ll notify you as soon as your baggage is found and deliver it to the address you specified, subject to"Local customs regulations".
  • Alternatively, you may collect your baggage from us at the airport.

In the unlikely event that your delayed bag is still not located, you’ll have to file a claim. You’ll need to do the following:

If your baggage is delayed more than 24 hours and you need to buy toiletries and other essential items, or you need to rent equipment because yours is delayed, we will reimburse you for these costs within reasonable limits.

  • The exact definition of what is reasonable depends on the individual situation, the purpose and the length of your trip. TG considers 100 USD/person/case for international route, 25USD/person/case for domestic route. You have to limit your expenses to reasonable necessities. Please note that this is your own responsibility. The reimbursements of extra costs are always based on acceptable documentation, so remember to save all receipts. You need to prove the extent of your loss.
  • To get reimbursed for any expenses caused by your baggage delay you need to send a written claim to TG​ baggage claim service as soon as possible and no later than 21 days after the bag has been delivered to you. You must include your Property Irregularity Report (PIR) and receipts for all the expenses. For us to make any kind of reimbursement, you must have suffered an actual and proven financial loss.
  • If your baggage is delayed on your trip home, we trust that you have access to the things you need. In these cases, the costs of essential items may not be covered by TG.
  • In case your baggage remains lost, any reimbursements that we have already paid will be deducted from the final settlement.
